"A good tin opener these days is hard to find ..."

I bought a great-looking and very sturdy/dependable-feeling tin opener a couple of years ago, for about £8. So sturdy/dependable etc that I threw the receipt away (something I never normally do).

It worked twice. The 67p tin opener I bought after that is still going well, over two years later.

funny you should say that as it was the ancient cheap one that finally gave up the ghost, long after the fancy one we had stopped working.
This one was £4.99, so mid range

When this one meets its maker, I'll be tempted to shell out a few quid again, but I'll definitely be keeping the receipt if so.
